Electricity and Heat for Erkelenz Hospital

Hermann Josef Hospital (HJK) in Erkelenz is hosting a showcase project for the climate-friendly energy supply of the future. Robert Bosch GmbH and Hydrogenious LOHC NRW GmbH are working at HJK to demonstrate the coupling of new hydrogen technologies on an economically relevant scale for the first time.

Helmholtz Hydrogen Cluster at Jülich Is Gathering Momentum

Prof. Peter Wasserscheid

Prof. Peter Wasserscheid is chair of chemical engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and is director at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg, a branch office of Forschungszentrum Jülich. Rüdiger-A. Eichel heads the Fundamental Electrochemistry subinstitute (IEK-9) and is the founding director of the industrial electrochemical competence centre ELECTRA. Prof. Olivier Guillon

Olivier Guillon is director at the Materials Synthesis and Processing subinstitute (IEK-1). The materials scientist works on topics including the development of solid oxide fuel cells and lectures in materials synthesis for energy technologies at RWTH Aachen University. >> Website IEK-1

Prof. Detlef Stolten

Prof. Ralf Peters

Ralf Peters is a professor at FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences lecturing in energy process engineering and is head of the Fuel Synthesis and Systems Engineering department within IEK-14. His work has focused heavily on process engineering issues relating to the synthesis of future fuels and the supply of hydrogen for fuel cell systems from liquid energy carriers since 1996.
