This is crucial for the development of the new energy-efficient technologies that are emerging in the context of the Energy Transition. Membranes can separate harmful greenhouse gases from exhaust gases much more efficiently than conventional methods, and they also form the basis for novel fuel cells and batteries. The Centre covers the entire spectrum of services – from the production of the materials needed, through to characterisation using modern analysis instruments and the testing of modules and components.
