We research structure and dynamics of proteins and molecular complexes and their roles within cellular processes, protein folding including co-translational folding, functional conformational changes in multi-domain proteins and biological signal transduction. Our methods are single molecule fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy, protein encapsulation techniques, cell free protein biosynthesis and neutron spectroscopy.
