- Phase separation kinetics, like spinodal decomposition and crystallization in shear flow.
- Response of several types of macromolecular systems to external fields: shear flow (rheology and shear-banding), electric fields (field-induced phases in suspensions of rods), thermodiffusion (spherical and rod-like charged colloids), and confinement (diffusion near a solid wall).
