IBG-2 Common Experiment

The common experiment is a test site for various field phenotyping techniques and contributes to the transferability of greenhouse phenotyping to the field.

IBG-2 Plant Sciences Forschungszentrum Jülich provides the field with a range of varieties of different major crop species. IBG-2 tests its own sensor and platforms developments as well as of developments within projects such as the German Plant Phenotyping Network (DPPN). The field is open to use for existing and new collaborations after contacting us. The decision of use lies with the organizing committee of the common experiment.

In 2016 the common experiment contains 5 species in different designs (see news: field design). Currently more than 10 individual experiments are planned in the common experiment (see news)
