Forschungszentrum Jülich and Aachen University of Applied Sciences sign cooperation agreement for Solarcampus Jülich

Jülich, 5 July 2013. The transformation of the energy sector coupled with the growing significance of renewable energies has led to a huge need for application-oriented research and development aiming to speed up the time to market of technological innovations. Aachen University of Applied Sciences and Forschungszentrum Jülich have joined forces and established Solarcampus Jülich to rise to this challenge together. The cooperation agreement was signed by representatives of the two insitutions today at an official event attended by State Secretary Thomas Rachel (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) and State Secretary Helmut Dockter (Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Research of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia).
