Forschungszentrum Jülich Wins First Labvolution Award

The Bioprocesses and Bioanalytics working group and the Helmholtz Innovation Lab MiBioLab at IBG-1 received the first-ever Labvolution Award at the Labvolution trade fair in Hannover on Tuesday. The award is given in recognition of ideas that improve laboratories.

This year, first prize went to Prof. Marco Oldiges’ working group for their creation of an automated, miniaturized cultivation platform. Labvolution in Hannover is the most significant trade fair covering the topics of digitization and automation in the laboratory.
