ESOF2020

The ninth EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) will take place in Trieste, northern Italy, from 02 - 06 September.

Together with the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Centre (MLZ), the Jülich Centre for Neutron Science is also represented at this, the largest interdisciplinary pan-European scientific event: in an online lecture from the JCNS outstation in Garching, Dr. Stefano Pasini will present the results of neutron studies on how the widely used painkiller ibuprofen affects the structure of lipid membranes.

Two other lectures at the MLZ will deal with the application of neutron scattering methods in the search for new materials for the energy revolution.
