ERC Starting Grant for Benedikt Sabass

Jülich/Brussels, 3 September 2019 – Dr. Benedikt Sabass from Forschungszentrum Jülich has been awarded a Starting Grant by the European Research Council (ERC). Over the next five years, the physicist will receive a total of approximately € 1.5 million in funding for his research project from the European Union’s research funding programme Horizon 2020. ERC Starting Grants offer excellent early-career scientists in Europe the opportunity to conduct basic research and set up their own research teams.
